Walter Pope Mary Sargent Walter G. Pope, 79, 1821 Lindberg Road, died Wednesday morning at St. John's Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born in Carthage, and had resided in Anderson the past 28 years. He was a construction worker before retiring in 1972.
